Women Leaders From The Penny Hoarder Took on the Big Apple

On Sept. 25, several female department heads went to the Inc. Women’s Summit in New York City. The one-day event featured dozens of accomplished entrepreneurs -- you might recognize a couple speakers from the silver screen -- who shared their experiences and tips for running a business.

Attendees heard from people like SPANX founder Sara Blakely. She shared the gory details of being an entrepreneur, from securing venture capital to getting your first term sheet to fulfilling mass orders when your product becomes a hit!

Eight female leaders across multiple departments at The Penny Hoarder attended the summit. We’ve hired quite a few people in the last year (psst, we’re still hiring), so it was good for old and new employees alike to spend some time together.

Here they are on stage at the Inc. Women’s Summit.

Some of our staff even met Kevin O’Leary from “Shark Tank”! Did you know Mr. Wonderful prefers to invest in women-led companies?
